Conditions and modalities of the verification of Speed Cameras, Radars and Lidars in the laboratory
- For any verification request, please contact the technical manager to verify the compatibility of your request with the scope of approval of CALIMETER as well as the availability of the laboratory and the technical team. A quote with an appointment and completion times will be communicated to you by the technical manager.
- If the quantity of radars presented for verification is less than 5 units, a delivery order accompanying the radars will be sufficient, the acknowledgment of receipt or signature of the customer's delivery order is an acceptance of the verification request by the latter.
- If the quantity of radars is greater than 5 units, the requests will be the subject of an order letter accompanied by our quotation signed and sealed by the customers with the mention "good for agreement".
- The minimum delivery time for a laboratory-verified system is 2 working days from the date of receipt.
- The devices must be presented for verification prepared and accompanied by their metrological logbook containing the information required by the regulations in force.
- The payments for our services are payable upon receipt of our invoices. Payments can be made either by transfer to the CALIMETER account mentioned on the invoice or by check. CALIMETER reserves the right to request a cashier's check or certified check.
- In the case of compliance of the device, the regulatory verification marks as well as the seals will be affixed to the verified devices and an individual verification certificate is delivered with each compliant unit, where applicable, the refusal mark (red seal ) will be affixed and the customer will have one month to remedy any observations of non-compliance with the unit. CALIMETER will only invoice the MIC fee (not applicable to date). After the one-month period, CALIMETER reserves the right to invoice again for the verification service of said unit.
- CALIMETER is committed to the confidentiality of all information and data relating to its customers but, according to the approval agreement binding it to MIC, CALIMETER is required to present a detailed monthly report of its verification activities to the Metrology Division of Supervising ministry.
